Are you organized, friendly, and passionate about working in a child-focused environment? Our daycare is looking for a reliable and motivated Office Assistant to join our team!

About the Role:

As our Office Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our daycare running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll handle a variety of administrative duties, support our team of caregivers, and occasionally step in to help with day-to-day operations when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet parents, staff, and visitors in a warm and professional manner

  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general inquiries

  • Maintain up-to-date records, files, and documentation (both digital and physical)

  • Assist with scheduling, billing, and enrollment paperwork

  • Support staff coverage during absences or busy periods (including stepping into classroom support if needed)

  • Help ensure the center meets licensing and safety requirements through administrative support

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (email, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • A flexible and dependable attitude—willing to occasionally increase hours or help cover staff

  • Previous experience in a daycare, school, or office environment is a plus

  • Ability to pass background checks and meet all required clearances

Hours & Availability:

  • Part-time position: Approximately 25 hours per week

  • Flexible schedule required: Must be available to cover additional hours, including full days when needed (due to staff illness, vacation, etc.)
