About the Role:
Join The Learning Experience in Astoria, NY, as a Center Support Teacher, where you will play a vital role in nurturing young minds! This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a vibrant environment of multiple classrooms dedicated to fostering creativity and learning in children.
Part Time hours of 8am-2pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in multiple classrooms.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor and document children's progress and behaviors.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Help supervise outdoor play and group activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate Degree in ECE preferred.
- Min of 2 years experience with young age children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of children.

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
